1. Order Processing & Dispatch Schedule
Because our products are baked fresh to order, we operate on a strict weekly baking and dispatch schedule.
Orers requiring delivery will be dispatched once they are ready, and customers will receive an email notification with tracking information once the order has been shipped.
Please note that delivery timeframes depend on the courier and are not guaranteed.
Cut-off Times
Please check the current order cut-off time at checkout. Orders placed after the weekly cut-off will automatically roll over to the following week's bake and dispatch cycle.
2. Local Collection
If you selected local collection, you will receive an email notification once your order is ready for collection.
Please wait for this email before coming to collect your order.

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We ship across the United Kingdom.
Shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and selected delivery method.
Once dispatched on Friday, deliveries typically arrive within 1–3 business days, depending on the courier and your location.

4. Packaging & Perishable Products
Our cookies and baked goods are perishable items.
All orders are packaged carefully to maintain freshness and protect the product during transit.
However, we strongly recommend:

Scandal Bakes cannot be responsible for packages left unattended outdoors or returned to the depot due to missed deliveries.
5. Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details at checkout.
If a package is returned, delayed, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or free replacement due to the perishable nature of our products.

6. Delayed or Lost Packages
Once your order has been handed over to the courier, Scandal Bakes is not liable for delays, rerouting, or delivery issues caused by the courier or weather conditions.
If your package is significantly delayed or lost, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you with opening a courier claim or investigation.
