When do drops go live?
My weekly cookie drop goes live every Thursday at 7:30PM, subject to availability.
How do I place an order?
Once the drop is live, simply choose your cookies on the website, add them to your cart, and check out as normal.
Do you offer UK delivery?
Yes — I offer UK delivery through Royal Mail 24. The option will appear at checkout if available.
Do you offer collection?
Yes — collection is available from Al Forno, Ingleby Barwick.
When will my order be ready?
Orders are baked in small batches and fulfilled as quickly as possible after the drop. You’ll receive confirmation once your order is ready for collection or dispatch.
How big are the cookies?
My cookies are thick, gooey New York-style cookies, usually around 180–220g each.
How should I store my cookies?
Keep your cookies in an airtight container at room temperature and enjoy them within a few days for the best texture and flavour. If preferred, they can also be stored in the fridge for a firmer texture.
Can I warm them up?
Yes — for the best gooey centre, warm your cookie in the microwave for around 10–15 seconds.
How long do they stay fresh?
They are best enjoyed within 10 days of receiving them.
Can I freeze them?
Yes — you can freeze them for longer storage. Defrost at room temperature, then warm slightly before eating for the best texture.
Do your cookies contain allergens?
Yes — my cookies may contain allergens such as wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts and tree nuts depending on the flavour. Please always check the product description before ordering.
Are your cookies suitable for vegetarians?
Most flavours are suitable for vegetarians, but please check the individual product description for full details.
Do you offer vegan or gluten-free options?
At the moment, I do not offer vegan or gluten-free options.
Are your cookies baked fresh?
Yes — all cookies are baked in small batches for each drop.
Do you offer larger orders for events or birthdays?
Yes — I offer larger orders for birthdays and special occasions. Better pricing is available depending on quantity. Get in touch through the contact page or Instagram to discuss your order.
Can I send cookies as a gift?
Yes — Scandal cookies make the perfect gift. You can add a message before checkout and make sure the delivery details are entered correctly.
How much notice do you need for larger orders?
Ideally, around one week’s notice is best. That said, I understand things come up last minute — I’ll always do my best to accommodate where possible.
Will warmer weather affect my cookies?
Warmer weather may make the cookies softer in transit — but don’t worry, that’s part of the gooey experience. If needed, you can chill them briefly or warm them for 10–15 seconds before enjoying.
