Scandal began with Ody — a chef whose journey started in Greece and continued through London’s restaurant kitchens from 2011, working his way from assistant to sous chef and head chef. Years of discipline, technique, and flavour now live inside every Scandal cookie.
Today, Scandal is a small family-run brand based in the North East of England. Every cookie is made by hand in our home kitchen, with the help and support of Ody’s wife and mother-in-law, who are part of the process behind every batch. It is personal, small-scale, and full of care — not mass-produced, not rushed, and never ordinary.
Desserts have always meant more than something sweet. They are memories, family moments, comfort, celebration, and the kind of treat people remember.
